Having released his first single only 5 days ago on Enhanced Records, Savi’s “Breathe It In” featuring Bryce Fox has already received radio support from Tiesto’s Club Life, Arty’s Together FM, Blasterjaxx’s Maxximize On Air, & Tom Swoon’s Lift off!
“Breathe It In” is Savi’s first single following his feature late last year alongside Bebe Rexha on Havana Brown’s “Battlecry” which went top 40 in Australia. Savi teamed up with Bryce Fox who also wrote the top line & is featured on the song. Ironically both played their first major festival together this past weekend at Kaaboo which also had performances from Aerosmith, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers & Jack Johnson…Savi is currently touring the U.S. with monthly residencies at Marquee Las Vegas, Omnia San Diego & E11even Miami.
The song has a powerful message of reminding the listener to live in the moment and take in whats in front of you…The music video adaptation of the story is told through the eyes of a young beautiful girl (played by Wilhelmina model Hannah Kirkelie) caught in a bad relationship while being diagnosed with an unknown and follows her on a dark isolated journey…it leaves the viewer with a lot of room for interpretation as it is not in any way a clear cut story but more of a powerful story line about a young woman who may not have a huge support system in her life and the dark journey she goes on to get through it on her own ultimately leading her to a place of peace & happiness again…
Savi got his start in the industry interning for Carson Daly while also co-hosting The Hot Hits Live from LA where he also appeared on TV shows such as; Touch (FOX), Entourage (HBO), Punk’d (MTV) and Greek (ABC Family), whilst playing in several bands as he was growing up before finally moving to LA after college. “Breathe It In” was born as Savi met Bryce through some of his closest friends in LA. Bryce was actually the last of the IU crew he met, but as he heard Bryce sing “Breathe It In” he knew it was going to be special! Originally recorded at 126 BPM, it all finally came together at 144 BPM after Savi went through working on countless versions of the song. Savi and Bryce were both raised in the midwest, moved to LA after college, and started individual careers from scratch going through the ups and downs of finding themselves artistically.
